  1. Where can I download the app?
    The Homyze app can be downloaded from both Google Play and the App Store. Please follow these links for Android and Apple devices.
  2. When can I book a Homyze Pro?
    Homyze Pros are available at all times, day or night. Naturally, there are usually more tradespeople available during daylight hours, but our Homyze have been known to fix a pipe or two (hundred) all through the night.
  3. How long will it take for a tradesperson to arrive?
    How long it takes your Pro to arrive depends on where and how busy he is. We would never encourage our Pros to exceed the speed limit, but he will be on his way to you as quickly as London traffic will allow! If you want to check his progress, you can follow him on the map within the job booking.
  4. How much will it cost to book a Homyze Pro?
    Homyze Pro prices are based on an algorithm that takes into account variables such as the time of day and the amount of tradespeople available at any point in time. That means there’s some fancy maths behind our functionality. We have a hard limit on our prices meaning that you will always get great value.
  5. What if I am not happy with the service provided?
    It is Homyze’ mission to make sure that you are always happy with the job done by your Pro. Please reach out to us using the contact form here or within the app if you have any problems, and we will do what we can to help. If you’re not happy, we’re not happy.
  6. What is your cancellation policy?
    On-demand jobs can be cancelled up to 5 minutes after booking, as by this time the Pro is already on his way! We’re just happy your problem is fixed! Bookings made in advance can be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance.
  7. Can I get a VAT invoice?
    Homyze will send you a receipt for all the jobs completed. If, for some reason you don’t receive it, please get in touch with us and we will re-send. Emails do go missing, but we’re sure we can find it around here somewhere.
  8. How are charges calculated?
    Total job charges are based on both the job duration and the parts required. Jub duration is charged at a minimum of one hour, and in 15 minute increments thereafter. Parts are charged at their cost price only. You pay what we pay - just as it should be.
  9. How do you vet your trade professionals?
    Our Homyze Pros are mined from deep under the ground in a desolate stretch of otherwise unremarkable desert, polished and put out into the world. Well, not quite but it does feel like it sometimes - quality takes time to find. All of our Pros go through on-boarding checks including skills, knowledge and customer service. We also check on them during and after jobs, based on your feedback. But if you need any more information, contact us here.
  10. Does Homyze have insurance?
    Homyze does have insurance - we live in a world of ‘just in case’. With regard to claims related to the jobs themselves we require our Pros to have at least £2 million in public liability insurance in place. We hope they will never need it, but just in case...
  11. Do Homyze Pros come with their own tools and supplies?
    Homyze Pros are required to carry a minimal set of tools and equipment that enables them to do most common jobs. In the eventuality that specialist parts are required, your Homyze Pro will source whatever is needed and you will pay what our Pro paid. And no more.
  12. I am having problems using the App?
    If you are struggling with any of the App’s functions, try removing the App and re-downloading. If this does not solve the issue, then please contact a member of our customer services team at hello@homyze.com.
  13. Forgotten your password or username?
    Don’t worry it happens to us all. Please follow the “forgotten your password or username” link within the App, and follow the easy steps.
  14. Can I have an estimate for a larger job?
    Of Course, no job is too big nor too small for Homyze. Homyze Pros are happy to come and carry out an Estimate at your convenience. Please use the App to schedule an estimate visit.
